Full disclaimer this is kind of a lot, but I think its super important that my clients get a really good sense of who I am. So I'm laying it out 👇

I'm a  determined, organized, sassy, neat freak with a passion for making others smile - well that's what my friends would tell you. I'm also just a girl trying to fulfill my purpose in life. for me that means using my God gifted abilities to help others. 

Since I was in grade school I found joy in planning events. As I got older my friends would often ask me for assistance and the joy got stronger. After years of helping family and friends, I've decided to extend my experiences and skills to the public. 

Here's the thing, I'm an open book kind of person, so I want to be perfectly transparent - I am by no means "formally" educated in Event Management or Hospitality. I hold degrees in Urban Planning & Communications. I have most recently held positions in Project Coordinating and Finance with a company I am proud to be apart of. Although I don't have a certificate that says "Certified Event Planner" I have a diverse background in planning, management, and finance. 

I am passionate about using my skills to help individuals bring their visions to life in the event space. I'm a people pleaser with a stubborn personality. Besides I'm not good at sitting around, I'm a  bit of an over-thinker, I stress over the small details, I'm a people watcher, I get a serious high off of seeing other peoples reactions, and my love language is quality time. Usually someone might list those as weakness' in an interview but I leverage them as an Event Coordinator. 

Here is how it translates - I'm an energizer bunny dressed in heels, my eyes race around a room as fast as my 6' body making sure I've captured every last detail and I'm two steps ahead of whatever happened five minutes ago. I seek joy in people and believe that everything happens for a reason and the reason is thoughtful execution. I am not your average vendor because on the day of your event I take the baton and know your vision like its the back of my hand. As a recovering control freak I know that's a huge responsibility and I do not take it lightly!

Event Coordinating just makes sense for me! I am the owner and lead coordinator of Lavender Sunset Events an Event Coordination and Rental company.
